About Us
Barely Better Club was born in 2025 from a simple, slightly rebellious idea: that healthy living doesn't have to be humorless, and sobriety doesn't have to mean boring.
We make graphic tees for everyone, from full-blown biohackers tracking their VO2 max to people who are just starting to question their third drink of the night. If you're committed to living longer, living better, and inspiring others, you're in the right place.
We're here to make you laugh, hand you a quality tee you'll actually want to wear, and remind you that being the most interesting person in the room has nothing to do with what's in your glass.
Why We Started -
"I don't have time to exercise." Classic. A personal favorite. And also, respectfully, not entirely true. If you've ever watched a full episode of anything, you had ten minutes to move your body. That's not a guilt trip, that's just maths.
The founder of Barely Better Club is a wellness enthusiast who also has moments of weakness. Who encourages the people around them to be healthier, and sometimes gets met with the same recycled excuses. Who eventually realized that the problem wasn't motivation, it was that wellness culture had set the bar so impossibly high that most people didn't even bother trying.
So we lowered the bar. On purpose.
Because ten minutes of movement counts. One good night's sleep counts. Choosing water over your third drink counts. None of it has to be perfect. None of it has to be Instagram-worthy. It just has to be barely better than yesterday.
That's the whole philosophy. That's why the brand is called what it's called.
Our tees are made from premium ring spun cotton, printed in the USA, and built to last, because the joke on your chest deserves a shirt that holds up. Every piece is designed for real bodies, real lifestyles, and real people who are just trying to be barely better than yesterday.
That's enough. Welcome to the club.
Meet Mehmo
This is Mehmo. He is here to accompany you along your barely better journey.
Mehmo's story starts the way a lot of good stories do, with a heartbreak he didn't see coming.
Like most people, his first instinct was to reach for a drink. Maybe two. Maybe enough to stop thinking about it for a while. But somewhere between considering that option and actually doing it, something stopped him. Just a quiet thought that there had to be a better way to actually feel better.
So he made a decision, not to numb it, but to outgrow it. He became determined to optimize his health, starting with the one thing nobody talks about enough: that how you treat your body has everything to do with how well you handle your emotions.
So he did what any reasonable person does at rock bottom, he opened YouTube.
One video led to another. Then another. Before he knew it, Mehmo was three hours deep into a rabbit hole of longevity content, sleep science, and zone 2 cardio explainers at 1am, genuinely wondering if he should get his VO2 max tested.
He didn't fix himself overnight. He just started making slightly better choices than he would have made the day before, and somewhere along the way, realised that longevity isn't a destination. It's a journey. And the only requirement is that you keep showing up, barely better than yesterday.
Mehmo is the heart of Barely Better Club because his story is everyone's story. You don't need a perfect reason to start. Sometimes a bad one is enough motivation.
He found his way through it. He's here to remind you that you will too.
