Meet Mehmo
This is Mehmo. He is here to accompany you along your barely better journey.
Mehmo's story starts the way a lot of good stories do, with a heartbreak he didn't see coming.
Like most people, his first instinct was to reach for a drink. Maybe two. Maybe enough to stop thinking about it for a while. But somewhere between considering that option and actually doing it, something stopped him. Just a quiet thought that there had to be a better way to actually feel better.
So he made a decision, not to numb it, but to outgrow it. He became determined to optimize his health, starting with the one thing nobody talks about enough: that how you treat your body has everything to do with how well you handle your emotions.
So he did what any reasonable person does at rock bottom, he opened YouTube.
One video led to another. Then another. Before he knew it, Mehmo was three hours deep into a rabbit hole of longevity content, sleep science, and zone 2 cardio explainers at 1am, genuinely wondering if he should get his VO2 max tested.
He didn't fix himself overnight. He just started making slightly better choices than he would have made the day before, and somewhere along the way, realised that longevity isn't a destination. It's a journey. And the only requirement is that you keep showing up, barely better than yesterday.
Mehmo is the heart of Barely Better Club because his story is everyone's story. You don't need a perfect reason to start. Sometimes a bad one is enough motivation.
He found his way through it. He's here to remind you that you will too.
